Ogier act in one of 2012s largest UK commercial property deals

Ogier recently acted for institutional investors on the purchase of One Plantation Place, one of the largest office buildings in the City of London, in a transaction valued at around $759 million.  This is thought to be one of the largest UK commercial property deals of 2012 to date.

Situated in the insurance district close to Lloyds of London, One Plantation Place currently has a number of insurance companies, professional service providers and financial institutions as tenants including Royal & Sun Alliance, Accenture and Wells Fargo.

Ogier fielded a cross-jurisdictional team, led by Jersey partner Michael Lombardi with Senior Associate Richard Daggett and Associate Alan Stirling.  BVI legal advice was provided by partner Simon Schilder with administrative services provided by Ogier's Real Estate team led by Director Paul Lawrence with Senior Administrator William Turner.
