Ogier act for Newmont mining Corporation in connection with US$2.2 billion acquisition

Ogier acted for Newmont Mining Corporation (Newmont) in connection with its US$2.2 billion acquisition of Frontier Gold which was completed by way of a Canadian plan of arrangement involving a number of Cayman companies that were being acquired by Newmont. Ogier also advised on and set up a new Cayman Islands company that participated in the acquisition of Fronteer.
