MedSci Healthcare in HKD608m Hong Kong IPO with Ogier counsel

Ogier has acted as Cayman Islands and BVI counsel to MedSci Healthcare Holdings Limited 梅斯健康控股有限公司 on its initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The international offering in reliance on Regulation S. Shares in MedSci Healthcare commenced trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 27 April 2023. The gross proceeds from the offering amounted to approximately HKD608 million prior to the exercise of the over-allotment option.

MedSci Healthcare (Stock Code: 02415.HK) was incorporated in the Cayman Islands in 2012 and is one of the largest professional physician platforms in China, primarily providing precision omni-channel marketing solutions, physician platform solutions and RWS solutions. According to Frost & Sullivan, MedSci Healthcare operates one of the largest online professional physician platforms in China based on registered physician users and average monthly active users in 2021.

Ogier's team in Hong Kong, led by partner Rachel Huang with support from the firm’s global head of Corporate Nathan Powell and paralegal Vicky Wu, worked closely with Davis Polk & Wardwell as company's Hong Kong and US counsel, Commerce & Finance Law Offices as company's PRC counsel, Herbert Smith Freehills as Hong Kong and US counsel to the joint sponsors and underwriters and Jingtian & Gongcheng as PRC counsel to the joint sponsors and underwriters.
