Columbus Acquisition closes US$60mn IPO with assistance from Ogier

Ogier’s Corporate specialists in Hong Kong acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Columbus Acquisition Corp, a Cayman incorporated special purpose acquisition company (SPAC), on its US$60 million initial public offering and Nasdaq listing.
Columbus Acquisition Corp (Columbus Acquisition) announced the closure of its initial public offering (IPO) of 6 million units (including 900,000 over-allotment units) on 24 January 2025. The offering was priced at US$10 per unit. The company’s units commenced trading on Nasdaq Global Market under the ticker symbol COLA on 23 January 2025.
The Ogier team was led by partner Rachel Huang, with support from the firm's global head of Corporate, Nathan Powell, legal managers Chloe Yip and Em Lou and paralegals Josie Ma and Vicky Wu.
