The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority has extended the deadline for funds registered under the Private Funds Act (Revised) to submit their first fund annual return (FAR) forms and associated related fund entity (RFE) forms.
Private Funds with a 2020 financial year end and those with a 2021 financial year end falling on or before 30 April 2021 will now have until 31 October 2021 to file their FAR and RFE forms.
Private Funds with a financial year end falling on or prior to 30 April will be required to file their FAR and RFE forms for both 2020 and 2021 (as applicable) by this revised deadline.
