Transitional period from 2008 Guernsey corporate law reform ends - what to do next

No recognition for any arrangement to hinder Jersey authorities

Jersey's Royal Court has taken a firm line on arrangements intended to mislead regulatory authorities in the case of Al Tamimi v Al Charmaa, saying that the Island's courts should not recognise any arrangement which "detracts from the ability of regulators or law enforcement authorities" to identify the beneficial owners of companies or the beneficiaries under trusts.
